Rodeo Team Members Win NIRA Scholastic Award

The National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association is pleased to announce the 2018 Scholar American recipients for ÐÓ°ÉPro.  Ms. Swaize Lee, sophomore from Brownfield, TX and Ms.  Matty Wells, freshmen from Hereford, TX, had the honors bestowed as members of the NIRA by earning points in their rodeo events at a 2017-2018 NIRA sanctioned rodeo, been in college for more than one term, earned a 3.5 cumulative or better grade point average, and have been nominated by their rodeo coach.

Swaize graduated from ÐÓ°ÉPro Spring 2018 with both an Associate of Arts and Associate of Science Degree, she is attending Texas Tech University this Fall 2018 majoring in American History and Education. She also is a member of the Texas Tech Rodeo Team. Matty graduated from ÐÓ°ÉPro last Spring 2018 as well with both an Associate of Arts and Associates of Science Degrees as a freshman. She returned to ÐÓ°ÉPro for the Fall 2018 semester, pursuing an Applied Science degree and as a member of the ÐÓ°ÉPro Rodeo Team.
