For the past seven-plus years I have been employed at ĐÓ°ÉPro in the positions of Grants Coordinator and Vice President for Student Services," said Mitchell. "I have a passion for students. I am thrilled for the opportunity to continue to serve students in my role as Interim President of ĐÓ°ÉPro.  As this new chapter begins for both myself and ĐÓ°ÉPro, I want to express my commitment to working alongside the College and Lea County communities as we continue to strive for excellence in academics, student support, athletics, and community engagement while providing a safe, inclusive environment for everyone. I recognize the trust that the Board has bestowed on me. I am excited about this honor and look forward to conversations with students, staff, and community members as we continue to move ĐÓ°ÉPro forward during this time of transition and leadership change."

“Mitchell now is tasked with a very important and very effortful job,” said Manuel Gomez, ĐÓ°ÉPro Board member,” that’s why we chose her.  We know she’s ready.  The Board is extremely confident she will fill the interim seat and carry the professionalism and our college banner.”
