ӰPro (NMJC) is excited to announce the results of its Fall 2023 Student Satisfaction Survey. The survey used a sampling method which reflected the insights and sentiments of nearly 230 students in select in-person classes. This study was done by Ruffalo Noel-Levitz and reveals ӰPro's commitment to excellence and student-centric approach.
“The ӰPro Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness office is using the results from the RNL satisfaction survey to provide the college with a wealth of data points”, states Vice President for Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness William (Bill) Brown. “This information will inform student success efforts, accreditation, strategic planning, and provide ӰPro’s internal market research for recruitment efforts.”
An overwhelming 76% of students identified ӰPro as their first choice in higher education. The key factors influencing their decision to enroll, students enjoy ӰPro's financial aid offerings, cost-effectiveness, and academic reputation as pivotal reasons for choosing the institution. The survey highlighted several institutional strengths that resonated strongly with the student community. Many stated that they enjoy classes scheduled at convenient times, a safe and secure campus environment, readily available tutoring services, and the expertise exhibited by the faculty revealed prominent reasons behind the students' satisfaction.
“We received a higher response rate than we have had in the past, and (we) are proud of that!” exclaimed Brown. The college remains dedicated to leveraging this feedback to further enhance the student experience and maintain its position of academic excellence in the region.
