ÐÓ°ÉPro Pannell Library
Named for founding president, Dr. H.C. Pannell, the Pannell Library provides a diverse collection of print and electronic resources designed to meet the information resource requirements of ÐÓ°ÉPro students, faculty, staff, and community patrons in support of curriculum and the College mission.
Library Holdings
- A database collection of over 200 resources, accessible 24/7.
- A print book collection of over 45,000 titles.
- An electronic book collection of over 850,000 titles.
- Streaming video collections with hundreds of thousands of full-length titles and video segments.
- A DVD collection featuring over 3,700 titles.
- Estacado Library Information Network (ELIN) consortium information resources.
- New Mexico State Library information resources (El Portal).
- Thousands of print and electronic United States Government and New Mexico state documents as a member library of the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP).
- A College archive collection containing thousands of items of historical significance.
Resources/Services
- Book and DVD loan.
- 22 public access computers for conducting research and coursework.
- Color and monochrome printing (consult Library staff regarding printing policies).
- 4 study rooms (3 with PC and wall monitor display) accommodating groups of up to twelve ÐÓ°ÉPro affiliated patrons. Rooms are scheduled by reservation or walk-in (subject to availability).
- Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Request a book, document, or other materials held by another library.
- Research assistance for access to print and electronic information resources. Personalized research consultation available by appointment.
- Library instruction sessions and tours for groups and individuals.
- Student Laptop, Digital Camera, and Graphing Calulator Loan. Students must be registered in corresponding classes for Digital Camera and Graphing Calculator checkout.
- Professional staff collaboration with instructors regarding information resources for classroom assignments, specific research topics, or material acquisition to support curriculum.
- Email inquiries through the library@nmjc.edu account.
- Printable New Mexico legal forms, available through ELIN consortium resources.
- Community patron material loan, computer access, and printing services. Registered patrons may request a guest login credential at the Library Circulation Desk.
